COVID Safety – Keeping The Lafayette Community Safe

The College is taking measures to provide a learning and living environment that is as safe as possible. Members of the Lafayette College community and their guests have the responsibility to follow safety guidelines and policies that mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and help keep the campus and the Easton community safe. Nonetheless, it is important that guests recognize that even with our best efforts and your participation in our health and safety protocols, there are still risks associated with COVID-19. We thank you in advance for your assistance in helping to keep our entire community healthy by adhering to the following guidelines during your visit:

  • Each graduate must register each guest during the ticketing process should the information be needed for contact tracing purposes after Commencement.
  • Prior to your travel to campus, please review the current Pennsylvania COVID travel guidelines.
  • Be aware of COVID-19 symptoms. Self-assess before leaving to travel to campus and before you arrive to campus for Commencement. If you, or anyone you have been in contact with, has any of the symptoms listed, please do not come to campus. Instead we invite you to view the Commencement ceremony via live broadcast from your home, hotel or safe location you identify off campus.
  • When you arrive on campus, practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet from others not in your visiting party.
  • You will be required to wear a mask properly (covering your nose and mouth) when inside any campus buildings. Masks are not required for vaccinated individuals when outdoors.  If you forget your mask, disposable masks will be available at the Information Tents located outside of Oschle Hall near Gate 2.
  • All guests are required to have their ticket to enter Fisher Stadium. Tickets were secured by each graduate in May. It is the graduate’s responsibility to send each of their guests their individual ticket.
  • Assigned seating is made through the ticketing process.
  • Guests are to enter the Stadium through Gates 1, 2 or 3 and are asked to maintain physical distance if waiting on a line.
  • Contact Lafayette College immediately at 610-330-5100 if you show symptoms of or test positive for coronavirus within 14 days after your visit, so we can begin contact tracing protocol and ensure the safety of all our guests who attend.
  • Thank you for following these guidelines to keep other guests and all members of our Lafayette and the Easton community safe.
